Il est l\u2019<strong>\u00e9toile polaire qui guide notre activit\u00e9<\/strong> et a orient\u00e9 notre d\u00e9veloppement. Nous n\u2019en serions pas l\u00e0 si nous n\u2019avions pas eu \u00e0 l\u2019esprit une perspective \u00e9cologiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La justesse des choix\nd\u2019antan, depuis notre fondation, est de plus en plus manifeste \u00e0 nos yeux. Ces\nderni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l\u2019explosion des questions environnementales a finalement\nmarqu\u00e9 le pass\u00e9 et indiqu\u00e9 avec force le&nbsp;<strong>besoin d\u2019adopter une vision\nglobale sur le sujet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En d\u00e9pit des freins et des\nin\u00e9vitables ralentissements, la route est trac\u00e9e. C\u2019est une route\nincontournable, que doit emprunter tant la politique supranationale que les\nchoix individuels de chacun de nous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu\u2019est-ce que le prix Tyler?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le th\u00e8me de\nl\u2019environnement n\u2019est certes pas r\u00e9cent, comme en t\u00e9moigne le <a href=\"https:\/\/tylerprize.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement<\/strong><\/a>. La premi\u00e8re enseigne \u00e0 Stanford et se consacre\nprincipalement aux sciences naturelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9conomiste\nde formation, le second est titulaire d&rsquo;une chaire \u00e0 Oxford. Au fil des ans,\nleurs recherches ont prouv\u00e9 que l\u2019\u00e9cologisme n\u2019est pas l\u2019amour d\u2019une promenade\ndans les bois sur la montage, \u00e0 la recherche d&rsquo;air pur. Elle est anti\u00e9conomique ! <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qui est Pavan Sukhdev et qu\u2019a-t-il d\u00e9couvert ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le\ntravail de&nbsp;<strong>Pavan Sukhdev<\/strong>&nbsp;(pour\nles Nations Unies, entre autres) a ouvert les yeux des gouvernements du monde\nentier. Ses \u00e9tudes se sont pench\u00e9es sur l\u2019<strong>impact de la d\u00e9forestation sauvage sur l\u2019\u00e9conomie mondiale<\/strong>.\nIl en a tir\u00e9 la conclusion suivante :&nbsp;<strong>maltraiter les sols et abattre des for\u00eats enti\u00e8res sont ce qu&rsquo;il\ny a de plus anti\u00e9conomique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Par\nle biais d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de rapports, il a prouv\u00e9 que le&nbsp;<strong>d\u00e9boisement sauvage ne pr\u00e9sentait aucun\navantage<\/strong>. Au contraire ! Il a \u00e9galement d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que le cycle\nenvironnemental est li\u00e9 \u00e0 tout ce qui l\u2019anime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sa d\u00e9claration est embl\u00e9matique: \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Demandez l\u2019opinion de n\u2019importe quel agriculteur contraint de louer des abeilles pour polliniser ses champs, \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent que les populations d\u2019insectes sauvages ne suffisent plus pour y parvenir gratuitement. Le probl\u00e8me c\u2019est que les abeilles ne pr\u00e9sentent pas de facture.
